I only take on 2-3 long form projects per year at the moment. Currently, I am available.
For first-time clients, I will edit the first ten pages of a long form edit free of charge as a sample.

Developmental Editing

I will examine plot, subplot, point of view, character development, pacing, structure, dialogue, setting, etc. Basically, I will look for what is and isn't working.
This edit comes with an annotated manuscript and an editorial report.

Full Edit
$6 a page
I will examine plot, subplot, point of view, character development, pacing, structure, dialogue, setting, etc. I will also check for grammar, spelling, punctuation, tense changes, rhythm, wordiness, word choice, transitions, and other errors on a sentence level. This is on a much deeper level than proofreading.
This edit comes with an annotated manuscript and an editorial report.
